I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we had a wonderful trip on the MY Blue Pearl, The crew were ALL fantastic, they all worked very hard to make the trip enjoyable for all.
The food was great and there was plenty of it with a wide variety! The set up on the boat was great for diving and the crew were all so helpful on the deck when it came to prepping for dives, our dive instructors were extremely knowledgeable of the area and the dive sites, every briefing was spot on! All of us felt perfectly safe on every single dive!
As the group that stayed downstairs on the lower deck we did have one complaint. There was an extremely strong smell of diesel from day 1 all the way until the end in the cabins! As all of us actually work on yachts for a living we understand that sometimes there are issues with the boat that are out of ones control. We all had a wonderful time sleeping on the top deck under the stars! It was really fun and the group of us felt like we were 16 again and camping! (good thing it rarely rains in Egypt!)!
Overall we have a fantastic time and I'm sure we will all be back again in the future, it was a wonderful experience!

Kerry and Rodrigo (M/Y Blue Pearl 16.09.09) First of all I just want to thank you very much for all your efforts during the organization of our trip. You helped us very much answering all our doubts, and also helping us being picked up in Quseir. We really appreciate that. I miss the beautiful skies of the red Sea already! I had an absolutely fabulous time. The dive team leaders and crew were wonderful, highly professional, friendly, and a fun group. We had a really great time. The food was delicious and the diving great. I am very happy I took the Nitrox course. Unfortunately I forgot my camera but am awaiting digital photos from another guest on the boat. The weather was fantastic. I wish we had seen more sharks, though, but that is not something to be controlled! I just wanted to drop you a quick line to tell you what an amazing time we had on our trip. It was the best trip I've been on so far, and I've dived all over. It certainly worked the adrenal glands from time to time.
I'd like to make special mention also of the guides. We dove almost exclusively with Maradona and he was simply the best. We felt like he took us under his wing and we did various 70, 80, 90 minute dives to maximise the time playing with the 'big' stuff. He was absolutely excellent and other divers I spoke to felt the same.
Nina was superb also. Her organisation was excellent and she was simultaneously professional, funny and a wealth of information on Longimanus and other local flora and fauna. I would not hesitate to recommend discovery and the Blue Seas and I expect to be joining you again next year.

got
a
cabin
by
myself,
cabin
7. With
Khalid
and
Andy
the friendly
dive
guides, I
was
well
briefed
and
had
enough conversation time.
The
crew
were
helpful,
the
boat
well
captained
and
the
food
great.
I
had
a
very
nice
holiday!
Luckily
I
got
a
single
cabin,
but
we
were
many
single
travellers
so
somebody
would
have
to
share.
If I
go
on
holiday
alone
I
prefer
the
possibility
to
pay
for
having
a
private
cabin
- it
can
be
very
small
- to
avoid
the
risk
of
sharing
with
a
stranger.
That
would
be
my
main
concern
if I
went
alone
again.
The
safari
was
excellent.
The boat
was very
fine and
very
clean
and food
was very
good,
compared
to
previous
safaris
more
European,
but I
think
that is
because
of the
great
German
influence. The
crew and
the dive
guides
did all
their
work
very
well.
It was a
bit
windy,
but I
knew
that
this
period
still
can be
windy.
I will
send you
some
photos
when we
have on
CD:s -
we are
using
Nikonos
equipment,
so that
will
take a
few
days.
The
standard
of the
boat was
as we
wished
it to be
(not
like
last
year as
you may
remember).
The crew
was
nice,
food was
delicious
and the
guides (Khaled
and
Samuel)
knew
what
they
were
doing.
Although
this
time we
had
exceptionally
many
inexperienced
divers
and an
OWD-student,
they
were
able
choose
places
that had
something
for
everyone.
The
captain
was
skilful
of
choosing
calm
mooring
places
so that
we
barely
knew we
were at
the sea!
The kids
(and
adults
also)
appreciated
this,
indeed.
Due to
February
winds we
were not
able to
go to
one of
my
favourite
sites,
Kingston,
but it
was more
important
to have
nice and
calm sea
around:-).
However,
my other
favourite
site
Jackfish
alley
thrilled
me
again.
Kids
loved
snorkelling
and
enjoyed
sauna
very
much.
Sauna in
Crown
has
passed
very
strict
test of
Finnish
people
and it
has been
approved
for
use:-) Finally back home, the trip was awesome. I believe I can also speak on the behalf of my friend when I say that we were very happy about the safari. The boat was excellent and the crew was nice as well. No complaints whatsoever concerning the booking, transportation, food, tidiness, cabins or diving. Especially the food was excellent and even as a semi-vegetarian I had no trouble finding delicious things to eat (fresh fruits did run out at some point but that was no problem, of course).

We really
enjoyed our
time on M/Y
Amelia. The
boat is not
too fancy,
but has
everything
you need + a
very nice
and
professional
crew. Our
friends were
also very
pleased.
Khaled was a
very good
guide, good
briefings
and gave
everybody
the
opportunity
to make
their own
dives. Regarding our feedback about holidays with you - everything was really great, we both consider it the best holidays ever! We keep remembering every pleasant moment on Amelia: Khaled's "good mooooorniiiiing" is recordered on my phone which gives me the sence that it's waiking me up for eating and diving, not work :)) banana cakes, tea, writing down memories to the log, beautiful sea, hot sun, pleasant people around - that what we really desired.

in my life. It was amazing to be
on Amelia during that week. What
can I say? Six words only:
wonderful diving, excellent
briefings and delicious food. The whole trip was awesome,
really enjoyable and the service
from everybody was fantastic. I
definitely want to return to the
Red Sea some time soon. I have nothing but
appreciation of safari, boat,
crew, meals, dive guides,
organization of diving
activities, everything was

Heather, for your great and perfect organisation and always quick answers to all my questions - Khaled and Helen, for the excellent briefings, the safety feeling during the dives, all the fun we had together and of course for the unforgettable way to wake me up ("wakey wakey"). I miss it so much at home :-) And last but not least thanks to the excellent crew and their perfect and fantastic work. I feel like coming home when i am on the boat. We had a great time thank you very much. The diving was particularly exciting with encounters with white tips, oceanics, thresher sharks and hammer heads! As well as all all the other beautiful fish and sea life and corals!
We thought the Excellence was a very
well run ship and the captain and
the crew definitely lived up to the
name! They were all very
hardworking, helpful and friendly
and made us feel very welcome. The
boat was spotless.
The food was also superb. The Dive
guide Hassim and his helper Ibraham
were also very helpful and
friendly. We were particularly
impressed with Hassim who managed in
a very pleasant way to ensure that
we enjoyed excellent and safe
diving. His attitude to the guests
was perfect and he certainly gave us
the impression that he wanted us to
get the most from the trip. So top
marks all round.
Once again thank you for your help.
We will certainly contact you first
next time we are arranging a Red Sea
trip.

The staff was so helpful and nice, you

Osni very good with the zodiacs. I felt
always safe and for me was this the
first time with a zodiac.
And Khaled, you where great too. So

feel safe when the boat was going up and
down and going from left to right.

We
really enjoyed the safari with discovery
divers. I want to let you know that you have
a really good team, especially Khaled and
Helen. I saw a lot of dive-guides but these
two were the best. Both are authentic and
strait characters and Helen with her typical
British humour is top professional and
guarantees for a relaxed safari. Nice to hear from you and yes we had an excellent week. The Amelia is a very nice boat and the chef produced some fantastic meals for us. The birthday cake and celebrations provided by the chef and crew were a real treat. We all had a really good week. Khaled & Helen were excellent guides and provided us with well detailed briefings and allowed us to monitor our own buddy pair dives around the wrecks, which was great.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday. We have
already planned a dive holiday in Scappa
Flow next year, but would love to return
with you again sometime.
It has been a pleasure dealing with
someone who has always replied promptly to
emails and answered any questions I have
sent your way.

Diving was awesome. Best visibility and coral in
a long time. Saw about 13-15 hammerheads on one dive
so that is always exciting.
The boat was great too. Huge and very

Thank you, the journey back home went very smoothly indeed...
as did the safari - I was very happy with it!!! nice boat, good
food, great crew, fantastic dive guides... and 20 unforgettable
dives!!! :-) (didn't miss a single one). Our
trip was most successful, more than we dared to anticipate. I
was quite excited how everything will turn out. Our guides Juan
and Khaled were nice and planned our route well so that we were
able to do 7 dives and daily snorkeling. We had an unforgettable time;
It was perfect the cruise , boat crew, cook, and of course
the captain.
All the group agreed it till now you are the best;
In the coming days when I have more time I will send you some

much. The diving was good. We were lucky to have good weather.
Golden Dolphin is a fine boat and the crew, especially the guides
Amr and Talaat, are great. We both had a great
week's holiday - the diving was excellent, the instructors were
excellent and the crew worked hard to make our stay as best as
possible.
Just back in Germany I will send you a big thank's for a nice safari
and a well done organisation. Hope to see you soon. Thanks to you, I really enjoyed Egypt. Lovely country and
beautiful sea. I wish I could have visited Harugada, First of all, many thanks for a very good safari we
had this time. The boat was very comfortable and the crew one of the
friendliest and most service oriented we've ever met in Egypt. We
plan a safari next year from Sharm and if everything is OK, we will
certainly book thru Discovery Divers.
Thank you for an amazing safari on M/Y Amelia! The diving
was out of this world, the food was superb as well as the rest
of each day that was taken up by long luscious naps and great
conversation with a colourful mix of fun professional people.
Ute and Jim were excellent dive guides who went out of their way
to meet everyone’s needs. Their briefings were expert and every
dive site proved to be spot on to deliver fish after turtle
after shark in our Red Sea manual. To ensure the adventure
continued ashore, they even organized an after-diving quad bike
safari through the Marsa Alam hotel (who treated us like kings,
by the way). Thank you also to the joking, laughing, dancing
crew who added to the enjoyment of this great trip! We will
definitely do this again and I can recommend the safaris to
anyone in need of an unforgettable holiday!

I had the most fabulous time. The crew were great,
the boat was lovely, Helen, the divemaster was one of the best
guides I've had, and she and the crew got along very well (and she
loved the ship). Everyone went out of their way to make sure
everything was perfect. They were polite, respectful, interesting,
and I left wanting not only to go back and dive again, but to return
to take a land tour of Egypt. Truly a sign of a great trip. They
also threw me a surprise birthday party with cake and song - a
birthday I will never be able to top. The boat, the crew was fantastic,
dives were excellent and food was delicious.
Yes, really we had a GREAT
time!!
The crew was incredibly
helpful and funny...the food was excellent as well as the boat and
we really enjoyed our stay on Amelia.

No problems with transfers, the crew was great, very helpful and friendly, the boat is also very nice, dive guides gave us really good briefings, we visited great dive sites and the new hotel in Marsa Ghaleb is really fantastic ... Everything was great.

definitely coming back once again to see the Brother's, probably

I really enjoyed my holiday. Thank you for a lovely liveaboard
with everything we could ever hope for! The trip was excellent with
a superb dive guide. He gave us the best briefings we have ever
heard and made drawings of the dive sites like an artist! Also, the
wonderful Egyptian crew who served us great food and always smiled.

I expected, and the German and Namibian people were super. When I

everything I was expecting. The boat was superb the crew great the

decent hotel and the other guests were that rare eclectic mix that
can produce a really bond. If I can wangle a week off next year you
will be hearing from me again.
